May 9 Federal Certification Meeting scheduled

The FHWA and FTA are providing an opportunity for you to express your views on the transportation planning process in the Greater Akron area.

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) are providing an opportunity for you to express your views on the transportation planning process in the Greater Akron area in an open public meeting. This one-hour meeting will begin at 6 p.m. on ThursdayMay 9 in Meeting Room 2ab at theAkron-Summit County Public Library – Main Library located at 60 South High Street in downtown Akron.

This public meeting is part of a review that will assess compliance with federal regulations pertaining to the transportation planning process conducted by the Akron Metropolitan Area Transportation Study (AMATS), the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), public transit operators, and local units of government in the Akron area.

If you are unable to attend the meeting in person, comments will be accepted until May 16 to either of the following individuals:
