Local organizations partner to celebrate inclusion with a free kids’ concert
The County of Summit Developmental Disabilities Board (Summit DD) in partnership with the Northampton Christian Preschool, invite the public to celebrate inclusion with a kids’ concert, on Friday, February 7 at Northampton United Methodist Church, 852 W. Bath Road, Cuyahoga Falls. This free concert, featuring award-winning musician and author Jim Gill, will begin at 6:00 p.m. and is open to families of infant, toddler, and preschool children. To register, visit www.SummitDD.org/Jim-Gill-2014, download the registration PDF and bring it to the event.
“This event is for the whole family to come and celebrate their children no matter what their abilities. Join us in dancing, clapping, laughing and celebrating what inclusion looks like in Summit County,” encouraged Summit DD Inclusion Manager, Jennifer Musson.
The Summit DD Community Partnership for Inclusion (CPI) program believes that all kids should have access to activities that enrich their early childhood experience such a story times, arts and crafts, sports, or any other community program. We are the experts in inclusion strategies and we work with libraries, YMCA’s, and many other community partners to support the right of all infants and young children, and their families, to participate fully in their communities.
