Going Away Party for Abdala

Join the Stow campus as we say goodbye to Abdala Yusef. We’re going to come together here at the Block on Sunday, November 13 at 7 p.m. to hear his story, connect with each other, and support Abdala prayerfully as well as financially as he makes his way back to his family.

Abdala is a Palestinian who came to faith in his small village outside of Bethlehem, was persecuted, and fled to America to seek religious asylum. Because of connections he had, he landed here. Over the last year, he opened a small restaurant, and has been going to our Stow campus.

He has a wife and six children that he hasn't seen for the last 4 years. He has been denied asylum, and needs to leave our country. He can't return to his village unless he recants his faith or faces serious persecution. His plan is to relocate his family to Jordan and join them there. But he needs some cash to do it.
