Stow Snapshots: The Dog Days of Summer

Stow Patch reader Maria Bolick Martinez sent us this picture of her dog Stogie staying cool. Martinez said that Stogie is 13, and even with the air conditioning he still looked miserable, which is why they went to the basement and got him his own personal fan.
Laura Hickman posted the picture of the dog in the ice cubes on our Facebook page with this explanation: This is Elliot, a British Bulldog, and this is an "un-posed" picture (trust me, you couldn't actually make Elliot do anything) of said pooch trying to beat the OHIO heat after his owners emptied their cooler in the driveway in Columbus, Ohio.
Much like Stogie, Charlie likes to have his own personal fan pointed directly on him. Stow Patch Reporter Kyle Nelson obliges with not one, but two fans to help keep him cool.
