13th Annual Epiphany Arts Festival

13th Annual Epiphany Arts Festival

The Bath Church UCC is holding its 13th Annual Epiphany Arts Festival from Thursday, January 19 through Sunday, February 19 featuring outstanding area and regional artists.  The artwork will be located in the Sanctuary and Narthex at 3980 West Bath Road in Akron.  The Festival will open with a gala reception on Thursday, January 19 from 5:00-7:30 p.m. and we invite you to come meet the artists, view the art, and enjoy an evening of food and wonderful music.  The Festival will conclude one month later on Sunday, February 19 when you are invited to view the art one last time and enjoy a musical program at 3:00 p.m. featuring the Bath Church choirs: vocal, brass, children’s and handbells.

The Epiphany Arts Festival features a variety of art forms including paintings, sculpture, ceramics, glass, jewelry, calligraphy, photography and fiber arts.  The Festival has as its focal point a Statement of Purpose, which includes these words: “…Through the visual arts we hope to promote a more profound sense of beauty and greater communication with our creator, nature and each other.  It is in this special time that we celebrate the artists among us who offer their insights and talents to the world.”

The Arts Festival is free and open to the public on Sundays 12:00-3:00 p.m., Thursdays 7:00-9:00 p.m., and Saturdays 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.  For more information call The Bath Church office at 330-666-3520.
