Caldecott-Inspired Art Activities for Kids

Second through fourth graders are invited to try their hands at a bunch of different art techniques this winter at the library. We'll explore the titles that we think could win the Caldecott Medal for distinguished children's book and try out the art styles and techniques they use. Each class will give kids a chance to try a new technique, from cut paper to stamping to collage. Snacks are provided.

The classes meet Saturdays, November 19, December 10 and 17 and January 7 and 14 from 10 to 11:15 a.m. Activities and snacks are free, but please register to attend at our Children's Desk (330) 688-3295 ext. 5. Registration opens October 31. the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library is located at 3512 Darrow Road in Stow.
