Meet cartoonist Tom Batiuk at the Friends of the Library’s Annual Meeting on Tuesday, May 15. A short business meeting (taking about 15 minutes) will be held at 2 p.m. followed by a special “Meet the Author” program featuring Tom Batiuk, known for his popular comic strips “Funky Winkerbean” and “Crankshaft.”
Books will be available at the event for signing and purchase, including “The Complete Funky Winkerbean Volume 1
(1972-1974)” and “Lisa’s Story.” Light refreshments will be served. This event is free, but reservations are necessary due to limited space. To reserve a spot, please call 330-688-3295 ext. 4
