2. THE STOW PLAYERS PRESENT WORKING

Where/When: The Heritage Barn, 5328 Young Rd., Stow; Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., Sunday at 2 p.m.

Why Go: The musical directed by Marc C. Howard, with musical direction by Dustin Oliver,  is based on the book by Studs Terkel.

Pricing: $14 adults; $12 seniors and students.

Where/When: Kent State University Museum, 515 Hilltop Dr., Kent;  Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8:45 p.m.

Why Go: View the iconic actress's films, costumes and publicity outfits from her career, which lasted six decades.

Pricing: $5.

4. FREEDOM SONGS -- ART REACH THEATRE

Where/When: Akron Civic Theatre, 9305 Brecksville Rd.,  Akron; Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

Why Go: It's a celebration of American culture and spirit through song.

Pricing: $10 the day of the show; $8 if you purchase tickets in advance.

5. BACK TO THE BALLROOM -- BIG BAND DANCE

Where/When: Stage Door at EJ Thomas Hall, The University of Akron, 198 Hill St., Akron; Sunday at 3 p.m.

Why Go: Dance or just listen to the music of Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Duke Ellington and more. Jack Schantz and the University of Akron Jazz Ensemble performs.

Pricing: $10
