Community Job Club, Inc. Receives 501(c)(3) Designation

Stow, OH – The Community Job Club, Inc. recently received confirmation from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) that its request to become a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization has been granted. The organization had filed for the status roughly 14 months ago.

According to Executive Director Diana Miller, the designation will enable the Club to pursue grants on its own as well as allow donors to make tax-deductible contributions. “I am hopeful that this will open the door for more funding opportunities so that we may offer additional services to support job seekers and their families.”

Miller is also seeking candidates to join the organization’s board of directors. Meetings are held once a month.
