Two Kent Road Restaurants Revamping in Stow
KFC and El Campesino restaurant will make changes to their restaurants soon.
and on Kent Road will be getting facelifts in the next few months after City Council OK'd changes for the restaurants.
Michael Jones, applicant and architect for the KFC project, said the project should begin sometime in the spring.
The building will be redesigned with different bricks and the overall color will change from beige to dark red.

"We appreciate all the time and effort put into this project. It looks like both the planning commission and you guys put a lot of work into it, looks like a nice addition to the area," said Councilmember Jim Costello.
El Campesino will be adding a patio to the side of its building this spring.

Rob Kurtz, the city's assistant planning director, said the patio will allow room for 11 tables and the patio will be surrounded by a vinyl fence.
"It certainly appeared to be a postitive addition to the restaurant," said Kurtz.
