Join the team at the Relay for Life Chili Kick-Off!

American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Stow and Munroe Falls is hosting a chili cookoff to kickoff the 2013 Relay, open to the public and to all prospective Relayers.

The American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Stow-Munroe Falls 3rd Annual Chili Kick-Off Rally will take place on Saturday Jan. 26 from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. at Akron General Health and Wellness North (4300 Allen Road in Stow).

The Kick-Off is open to all prospective Relay teams and interested volunteers, as well as to the general public. This fun event is intended to raise interest in and awareness for the Relay, and to bring Relay teams together to officially “kick-off” the Relay season. The Kick-Off rally is football-themed, so wear your favorite football team’s jersey and come taste some of Stow and Munroe Falls’ best chili -- for free!

Nearly $2,000 in fundraising dollar credits will be apportioned to Relay teams at the rally. Increase your team’s chance to receive these fundraising credits by: signing your team up for the 2013 Relay of Stow and Munroe Falls, by attending the chili cook-off in a sports-themed costume, and by having team members registered before 1:45pm on the day of Kick-Off. (These fundraising dollars are the sole property of ACS. No cash prizes will be awarded.)
