Heat Has Record-Breaking Potential Monday in Stow

Expect Akron-area temperatures to be in the low 90s today.

The high in Stow is expected to be in the low 90s Monday, which has potential to break a record from 1989.

The record high temperature 22 years ago was 91 degrees, according to Weather.com. A high of 91 (low of 74) is expected in Stow July 11.

There is also a 30 percent chance of precipitation. Isolated thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon. Aol weather warns that some storms may be severe.
