Meth Lab Explodes on Mac Drive

Two men hospitalized in the blast, reports our news partner at WEWS Channel 5.

Two men were injured when a methamphetamine lab exploded in a duplex late Wednesday night, police said.

The explosions blew out windows Wednesday night of a house on Mac Drive near Darrow Road, our news partner at WEWS Channel 5 reports. The meth lab was in a back bathroom.

Stow police said the men, ages 28 and 29, were taken to an area hospital with burns to their hands, feet and face. Police suspect the two of making the meth that caused the blasts.

The neighbors in the other side of the duplex were not home at the time.

The Summit County Drug Task Force is assisting in the investigation.
