Sound Off as a Stow Patch Blogger

Have something to say? Need a local platform to do it? Patch.com is adding a platform for local bloggers on May 4.

Beginning May 4, Stow Patch will be making room for local bloggers on the site.

We're looking for bloggers who can riff on various topics, share their personality and engage our readers in discussions.

Patch is more than a news site, it's an online conversation about your community.

  • Are you passionate about Stow's core issues?
  • Are you an expert craftsman or hobbyist who can share do-it-yourself tips?
  • Do you have strong opinions about local government?
  • Can you just make us all laugh?
  • Can you write compellingly?

Then we want to hear from you!

This isn't a reporting job. It's blogging. You write what you want to say when you want to say it. Do it on your schedule, whether that's posting multiple entries per day or a couple times a month.

Be interesting. Be provocative. Be yourself.

If you'd like to chat about the opportunity to share your unique voice with our readers, send an email to Amanda.Harnocz@patch.com or call 330-256-3089.

"The local editor will review blog entries submitted to Stow Patch to ensure there are no libelous claims. Obvious typos will be corrected, too." Seriously? I rarely find an article on any of the Patch sites that is typo-free. I could blog, sure.... but I would be MUCH more interested in a proofreading position!!
