State Route 8 Construction in Stow Continues

The in the high speed lane for about another week still. 

Mayor Sara Drew said construction crews are making progess patching up all the cracks and potholes, but there's still work to be done. 

"I looked at the work site last week and there's a big difference," said Drew. "You can already notice a difference, it's a smooth drive."

She added that Street Superintendent Don Brooker said the Ohio Department of Transportation plans to resurface Route 8 in 2016 or 2017, and this time, they won't use concrete. 

"Hopefully in the future we won't have big chunks coming out anymore," she said.
