Strong Storms Moving Through Stow

A weather warning is in effect for Summit County.

Heavy rain and pop up thunderstorms are expected in Summit County Friday evening.

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Summit County until 6 p.m.

Meanwhile, residents who live near the Cuyahoga River, creeks, lakes and ponds should be on alert for the chance of rising water levels.

The National Weather Service has also issued a Flash Flood Warning. Forecasters say rainfall rates of about two inches per hour could produce runoff.
