Woman with Young Girls in Car Charged with Drunk Driving

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department.

officers said a mother of two was pulled over May 11 and subsequently charged for drunken driving and endangering children.

Officers pulled over a 1996 green Chevy Lumina on State Route 8 north near the Graham Road exit May 11 around 5 p.m.

According to the report, the woman was suspected of drinking alcohol. When officers pulled the 27-year-old from Cuyahoga Falls over, officers saw two young children in the car. The 4- and 5-year-old girls were the daughters of the Falls woman.

She was arrested and charged with an OVI and endangering children, both first-degree misdemeanors in this situation. 

She was taken to Summit County Jail and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.
