Citizens Involvement Committee
Pedestrian Plan, air quality resolution on meeting agenda
A public meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m., Thursday, December 6 at the Richard Howe House located at 47 West Exchange Street in Akron to discuss local and regional transportation issues.
The Citizens Involvement Committee (CIC) of AMATS will discuss the agency’s final Pedestrian Plan, which details the Greater Akron area’s pedestrian needs through the year 2035. The CIC will also discuss AMATS’ concurrence with the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency and the Erie Regional Planning Commission regarding the air quality impacts of an improvement project on state Route 18 in Medina County.
