Hospice Volunteer Education

Hospice of the Western Reserve is looking for new volunteers to visit patients and families, represent us at community events, help with volunteer education, fundraising, and much more. Licensed Hairdresser, Attorney, and Pet Therapy volunteers are also needed. Anyone 13 years of age or older interested in making a difference in the lives of others is welcome to attend this training. This two class series is being held Feb. 3 and 10 from 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. Volunteers interested in working with patients attend both sessions while volunteering in non patient areas and teen volunteering requires only attendance at the first 4 hours on Feb. 3.  RSVP required. Contact the volunteer team at 800-707-8922 (6881). Classes are also offered at other times and days throughout the year. Visit our website for more info at www.hospicewr.org/volunteer.
