Meet the Author: Brimfield Police Chief David A. Oliver

Meet “the coolest police chief in existence” as he unveils his new book, "No Mopes Allowed" on Oct. 14 at 7 p.m. Brimfield Police Chief Oliver has been telling stories for a long time, delighting internet readers from as far away as Hong Kong and every U.S. state. The Brimfield Police Department Facebook page has over 83,000 “likes” and is the third most viewed page in the United States. Chief Oliver’s new book is the greatest-hits collection of no-nonsense crime-busting, straight-shooting opinions, and oddball humor. Chief Oliver will be available after the program for book signing. Books are $14.95. This free event requires tickets, which will be available at the Reference Desk starting Monday, Sept. 30.  There is a limit of four tickets per person. For more information, call 330-688-3295, ext. 4.
