Stow-Munroe Falls High School Band Winter Concert

The Stow-Munroe Falls High School Band will be performing their annual Winter Concert, Thursday evening, December 18th at 7pm in the High School auditorium.  The concert is free.  The Stow-Munroe Falls High School Freshman Band, Gold Symphonic Band, Maroon Symphonic Band and the Wind Ensemble will be performing.  Music will include both seasonal and standard band literature including: Symphonic Prelude on Adeste Fidelis, Aventum (a melody of O Come Emmanuel and Ukrainian Bell Carol) David Foster’s Holiday Piece, the Runaway Sleigh, and Laughing All the Way which was originally composed for the United States Air Force band in Washington DC.  Non-seasonal selections include Make a Joyful Noise by Ohio Composer James Swearingen,  Groove Music by Balmadges, and A Childhood Remembered by Galante.  Over 230 students will participate in the concert.
