Ladies and Gentlemen, Start your Sewing Machines!

Enter the Annual Needlework Show put on by the Friends of the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library.

...Or start your knitting or embroidery or hand-sewing, because the Friends of the Library's Annual Needlework Show is coming in March!

Everyone can participate in this professionally judged community show of needlework and fiber arts. All you need to do is drop off your entry (or entries) on Saturday, March 16 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. or Sunday, March 17 between 1:30 and 4. Entry fees are only $5 per item entered and kids under 18 can enter their work for free. Best In Show winners will take home a $25 cash prize.

All types of hand needlework will be accepted. Categories include quilting (hand and machine), embroidery (counted cross-stitch and other counted-thread techniques, crewel work, needlepoint, etc.), and fiber arts (knitting, crochet, felting, etc.).

For the complete rules, stop in and pick up one of our Needlework Show Brochures or call Librarian Diana Parker at (330) 688-3295 ext. 4.

The show will be on display March 20 through March 24. The Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library is located at 3512 Darrow Road in Stow. Check us out on the web at www.smfpl.org.

Happy needleworking!
