Visitors to the gift shop at F.A. Seiberling Nature Realm, 1828 Smith Rd., Akron, will receive 15% off all merchandise during Visitor Appreciation Days, Friday, May 10 through Sunday, May 12.

In addition to the discount, the first 100 women visiting the shop Sunday, May 12 receive a free flower for Mother’s Day.

The gift shop at F.A. Seiberling Nature Realm specializes in USA-made, fair trade and eco-friendly gifts for all ages and interests. Items include Metro Parks apparel, plush toys, children’s books, field guides, greeting cards, jewelry and more. Regular hours are 10 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and noon to 4:45 p.m. Sunday.

“We work hard to find quality items that you will be proud to give as gifts, no matter the price range,” said gift shop coordinator Jill Pildner.

The 104-acre Nature Realm also includes several gardens, observation decks, two ponds, hiking trails and a tall-grass prairie.
