Campaigning = learning - Mike Rasor's blog

I had a terrific Saturday afternoon meeting residents of Ward 2.

If you’re new to this blog, you might not be aware of my method of campaigning: Learning. I knock on doors and listen. How can you represent people if you don’t know them and their concerns?

Today, we spoke about various issues, and I’m going to do my best to fix some problems that residents mentioned.

I’m not going to be able to get around to every household in the next few months. So if you’d like to discuss an issue, please attend my office hours meeting, this Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in the second floor conference room in City Hall.

  • City council meets next on Monday, September 9 at 5:30 p.m. At that time, we will resume discussions regarding my proposed tax break for purchases of AEDs.

  • Also, I recently had my Web site re-designed. Check it out by clicking THIS LINK.
