Norton Road/91 improvements coming - Mike Rasor's blog

Committee meetings lasted only 15 minutes tonight, but here are my notes:

We plan to enter into an agreement with the City of Hudson for the improvement of the intersection at Norton Road and Darrow Road. The plans include additional turning lanes and trails and sidewalks for pedestrians. Eighty percent of the funds are coming from the federal government. Stow and Hudson will each pay 10 percent.

The Public Improvements Committee approved a new member of the Building and Zoning Appeals Commission. The Finance Committee approved the hiring of a dispatcher to replace a dispatcher who retired.

The Finance Committee also discussed going out to bid for HVAC maintenance. The city has 81 structures (betcha didn’t know that) and more than half require semi-regular service.

City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday for Committee of the Whole, followed by the regular council meeting.
