Believes IB Should be Gone by the End of This School Year
International Baccalaureate in Stow Schools. Question why head administrator chooses athletics, over IB.
I found this interesting on another website. This is a letter to the editor in the entire form. Mr. Clark has some good points in my opinion.
Letter to the Editor:
"We have all heard the complaints from our school Superintendents, Treasurers, school board members and union leaders about unfunded mandates imposed on school districts. They tell us to complain to our political leaders; now we have Superintendent Jones imposing his own unfunded mandate, the I.B. program, on us and when the people complained about this to our own school board, these people just sit on their backsides and do nothing, remember, we have been told 'we're broke.'

"The question I have for Superintendent Jones is why didn't you take advantage of the I.B. program in your own home school district for your family? It seems you chose our athletic program in Stow over the I.B. program at the Aurora High School. As an educator, you should be ashamed of yourself; as our top educator you tell us how important I.B. is but you don't take advantage of it for your own family.
"I truly believe this is more about your resume and not our children's education. The end of this school year should be the end of LB. in the Stow school system."
