12 More Claim Assault by Former Stow Doctor

James Bressi pleads not guilty to sexual assault charges

Twelve more women claim they were sexually assaulted by a former Stow doctor, according to Stow Police records.

Since Sept. 10, 12 more women came forward to police claiming they were assaulted by Dr. James Bressi while he worked at the Summit Pain Clinic at 4302 Allen Road.

The new claims bring the total number of alleged victims to 61.

Bressi, 59, of 2468 Victoria Parkway, Hudson, OH, pleaded not guilty Sept. 11 to 23 counts of sexual assault involving 10 patients, according to the Summit County Clerk of Courts. The Summit County grand jury indicted Bressi on the charges in August.

So far, Bressi is facing trail on one count of rape, a first-degree felony, 11 counts of gross sexual imposition, a fourth-degree felony, and 11 counts of sexual imposition, a third-degree misdemeanor, according to the clerk of courts.
