5 Children Found in Meth House Still in Custody

Parents indicted on child endangering, meth manufacturing charges

Five children found in a Stow meth house remain in custody while their parents have been indicted on multiple felonies.

Jason Little, 37, and Brandi Little, 28, of Stow, have been indicted by the Summit County grand jury on three felonies following their arrest Feb. 19 on charges of illegal manufacture of drugs, a first-degree felony; illegal assembly of chemicals, a second-degree felony; and endangering children, a third-degree felony.

The couple are set to be arraigned on the indictment this morning in Summit County Common Pleas Court.

Meanwhile, the five children found living in the house where Stow Police found an active, one-pot meth lab — along with chemicals and equipment for making the drug — remain in custody with Summit County Children Services.

John Saros, executive director of Summit County Children Services, said the agency is trying to contact relatives.

"But that has not led to a family placement yet," Saros said.

He said all five children are with a foster family.

"They're all fine and they're together," Saros said.

The children are ages 2, 8, 9, 11 and 12.

An anonymous tip led police to the house 1842 Lillian Road where officers found components for a meth lab in the garage and basement.

The indictment only charges Jason and Brandi Little with child endangering in regards to one of the children for allowing the child to be within 100 feet of the manufacture of meth and in proximity to the chemicals used in the process, according to the indictment.
