Akron Police Need Help Finding Stow Man Involved in Multiple Bank Robberies

The following information was supplied by the Akron Police Department.

The Akron Police Department is asking for help finding a 25-year-old Stow man, who they say may be involved in three recent bank robberies. 

Police said Ralphel Antonio Penn of Stow allegedly robbed a First Merit Bank in Akron on Aug. 17. Officials added Penn may have also been involved in bank robberies in Northfield Village and Solon.

Penn entered a First Merit Bank at the 800 block of Brittain Road around 11 a.m. Aug. 17 and handed a teller a note demanding money, according to police. Officers said in a report that the bank teller gave Penn an undisclosed amount of cash and Penn fled.
