Burnt Toilet Paper and a Broken Mailbox: Police News

In today's police blotter, toilet paper was the focus of two incidents.

It's a little unusual to have toilet paper in two separate police incidents this week and neither of them involve throwing rolls into trees.

1. A man living in the 4000 block of Pardee Road told that his mailbox was destroyed sometime at night April 25.

Police found that the wooden mailbox was destroyed with a toilet paper stand.

2. Someone visiting April 24 told officers there was burnt toilet paper near the bathroom at the park.

An officer went to the park and noticed a roll of toilet paper that was still on the holder inside of the bathroom was singed and burnt pieces were lying on the ground.

There were no witnesses, according to the report.

Criminal mischief is a third-degree misdemeanor.
