Car Drives Through Residential Fence on McCauley Road During Weekend

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department.

Sometime overnight May 26-27, someone drove a car onto the lawn of a home at the 800 block of McCauley Road taking out part of a fence, according to .

After the car drove up onto the lawn, a wooden rail fence was split. The damage to the fence is valued at $500, according to the police report. 

“The marks in the grass indicated that a road vehicle left the roadway and U-turned in the yard back out onto McCauley Road after striking the fence," it states in report. "There was no noticeable paint transfer onto the pieces of fence, according to police."

Police also said that none of the vehicles parked nearby did not have any damage.

There are no witnesses or suspects at this time, according to police.

Criminal damaging is a first-degree misdemeanor in this situation.
