Driver Charged in Graham Road Crash

Peninsula woman charged with aggravated vehicular assault

Stow Police have charged a woman with aggravated vehicular assault following a crash on Graham Road last month that closed the roadway for four hours.

Mary Ann Mervin, 47, of Peninsula, OH, was charged Monday by police with the second-degree felony.

The early morning crash, which happened near Englewood Drive on April 24, sent five people to the hospital. Three of the victims were juveniles, and all have since been released after sustaining minor injuries.

Mervin also has been charged with drunk driving, driving under suspension, reckless operation and marked lane violation.

She appeared in Stow Municipal Court on the charges Monday and was released after posting 10 percent of a $250,000 bond. Mervin has a preliminary hearing on the charges set for May 23.
