Driver Leaves Accident, Damaged Tire on Side of Road

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department.

Two vehicles were pulled over on the side of the road on Beech Street July 11 after being involved in a crash near the intersections of Darrow and Kent Roads.

According to a police report, when the suspect learned that the other drive called the police, he quickly changed his damaged tire and left the scene — without the broken tire, lug nuts, a plastic hub cap and a wheel cover.

The wheel was left on the side of the road around 7:40 p.m.

said they figured out who the driver was and found out that his license was suspended.

Littering is a third-degree misdemeanor and driving under suspension is a first-degree misdemeanor.
