Fugitive of the Week: Convicted Bank Robber Wanted on Release Violation

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is looking for information on Roland Lamarr.

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is looking for information on Roland Lamarr, the task force’s fugitive of the week.  

Lamarr, who was originally arrested for armed bank robbery, is wanted by the U.S. Marshals for violating his supervised release, according to a press release from the task force. In 1991, Lamarr was charged with bank robbery with a firearm. He served 57 months before being released.

Lamarr, 58, has black and gray hair and brown eyes. He is about 6’0” and 165 pounds. The release notes that Lamarr should be considered armed and dangerous.

He is thought to be hiding somewhere in Cleveland. He has a previous address in the 3000 block of Cleveland’s Seymour Avenue. 

The task force is offering a reward for information that helps lead to Lamarr’s capture. People can call the task force with tips at 1-866-4WANTED or text tips to 847411 (tip411), keyword WANTED.
