Here's Why Police and K9 Were Sniffing Around Near the Airport Tuesday

According to the Stow Police chief, some county officials were just training.

If you noticed several police cruisers and some K9 dogs sniffing around the Tuesday evening around 5:30 p.m. — no need to be alarmed, they were just training.

Stow Patch reader emailed inquiring about "six or seven police vehicles parked at the church next to the airport field (the one across from the airport) and several dogs being worked, as if they were searching for something. I thought they might be doing some field training."

She was correct.
