High School Student Questioned in 'Serious Criminal Offense'

A high school junior was questioned at the school by the FBI and Stow police officers and arrested Wednesday night, according to the superintendent.

A  junior was pulled out of class Wednesday afternoon and questioned by  and the FBI and later arrested and charged with a "very serious criminal offense," according to Superintendent Russ Jones.

He added he believed the charges came from Noble County in southeastern Ohio.

The student is a junior, but Jones said, "he will not be in attendance at the high school for the foreseeable future."

Jones said the student was called out of class to talk with investigators.

Stow Police confirm they are assisting in an investigation and referred the FBI's Cincinnati office for more information. 

A message was left at the Cincinnati office Thursday at 4 p.m.
