Intoxicated Teen Asks Adults to Buy Him Booze

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department.

went to 4240 Kent Rd. July 28 after they got a call about a teen asking adults to buy him alcohol.

When police arrived around 8 p.m., they said the man, who is under the legal drinking age, was intoxicated.

Officers said the teen had a bag of gummie Lifesavers that he did not pay for at . The candy is valued at $9.96.

Prohibitions under 21 is a first-degree misdemeanor and theft is a first-degree misdemeanor in this situation.

The 18-year-old Stow man was arrested and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.
