Thousands in Jewelry Slowly Disappears from Stow Woman's Home

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department.

A woman who lives at the 2200 block of Elmwood Avenue reported to  that someone stole several expensive pieces from her jewelry box during the past four months.

A diamond tennis bracelet, tanzanite and diamond ring and matching earrings, a diamond heart necklace and “mom’s” wedding ring were taken from her home, according to the July 23 report.

The items have a total estimated value of $7,200.

Theft in this situation is a fifth-degree felony.
