Lock Cracked, Prescription Pills Stolen from Stow Woman

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department.

A 75-year-old Stow woman called police to report that several prescription drugs were taken from her home Aug. 16.

According to the report, 20 Vicodin, valued at $40, were missing from the master bedroom. Officers said 55 Percocet, valued at $165, were taken from a locked drawer and 140 more Vicodin, valued at $420, were taken from the locked drawer.

Theft, in this situation, is a third-degree felony and safecracking is considered a fourth-degree felony.
