Locker Crime Spree at High School Over?
The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
It appears an anonymous caller to may have put an end to the that have been going on since the beginning of the school year.
In a report just released Nov. 17, explain that an assistant principal at the school received an anonymous call on Nov. 11 informing him of three students believed to be the ones stealing lunches and other items from unlocked lockers.
The administrator told police the anonymous caller is the parent of a student at the school who learned the information from their child.

The thefts occurred between Sept. 1 and Nov. 11. And it wasn't just lunches that were being stolen. On Nov. 3, the thieves got away with a $125 pair of tennis shoes and an $80 fleece jacket.
No arrests were made, but two 15-year-old boys were referred to Stow Youth Services in relation to the offenses of theft and criminal mischief, both misdemeanors.

A 14-year-old boy also believed to be involved in the thefts was listed on the police report as “withdrawn from Stow High School.”
