Man Arrives with Gun, Check Made Out in Deceased's Name: Both Happened on Same Street
The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department.
• A Wyndham Ridge Drive resident called the Stow Police Department when an intoxicated man showed up on his doorstep with a gun April 21.
Police arrived and arrested the man and charged him with prohibitions, a first-degree misdemeanor, in this situation.
The man, who is from Tallmadge, was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

A few days later another report was received from another resident on Wyndham Ridge Drive.
• A report was filed by someone living in an apartment on Wyndham Ridge Drive after she discovered someone she knew forged a check in her deceased father’s name April 23.

The check was made out for $10,500.
Forgery, in this situation, is a fourth-degree felony.
