Man Charged for Breaking Open Door, Assaulting Resident

were called March 31 to a Graham Road residence because a man said someone busted through his front door and assaulted him.

When officers arrived to the 2300 block of Graham Road around 3:40 p.m., the door was broken and the victim, a 27-year-old Stow man, had cuts on his face from the alleged assault. 

Police arrested Christian Eugene Bloodworth, 29, of Plymouth Avenue in Garfield Heights and charged him with a felony count of aggravated burglary.

After arresting Bloodworth, police said they found a plastic bag with 18 grahams of marijuana in it. Bloodworth was also charged with possessing marijuana, a misdemeanor.
