Man Leaves ID After Attempted Theft

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department.

It was easy to identify one of the two men who police said tried to return purchases they didn’t buy at May 23 around 5 p.m. because one of them left their Ohio identification card.

Two men walked into the store and picked up two end tables, valued at $170 total, and tried to return them, according to the report.

The custmer service employees gave the men store credit, but when a store loss prevention employee interviewed the two men, they fled the store without the gift card and left an ID at the customer service desk.
