Man Passes out in Drive-Thru, Drugs and BB Guns: Police Blotter

A Streetsboro man apparently passed out while trying to order food at Stow's McDonald's.

Stow Police reported getting a call from an employee at the McDonald's on Kent Road Saturday afternoon for a man who fell asleep in his car in the restaurant's drive-thru line.

The reporting officer said when he approached Jarred D. Corona, 27, the officer found a metal marijuana pipe in his black Lincoln.

Corona was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, a minor misdemeanor.

BB guns and drugs

Two Stow men are facing drug charges after reportedly firing a BB gun in the parking lot of Huntingon Bank near Stow City Hall.

A bank employee called Stow Police Monday and said two men were inside a car in the bank's parking lot on Darrow Road shooting a gun.

Officers arrived and found Arthur L. Kubalek, 31, of King Drive reportedly firing a BB gun at a tree.

Police also found numerous prescription pills, used needles and BB gun supplies in the car. Officers found a black Colt BB gun, 45 C02 cartridges and a bottle of Copperhead pellets in addition to a knife, pills and the drug paraphernalia.

Kubalek was charged with discharging an air gun, a fourth-degree misdemeanor, possession of drug-abuse instruments, a second-degree misdemeanor, and two counts of drug abuse, a first-degree misdemeanor.

Police also charged Jonathan J. Marazza, 26, of Norman Drive with possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, and possessiong of drug abuse instruments, a first-degree misdmeanor.

Kubalek appeared in Stow Municipal Court Tuesday and his bond was set at 10 percent of $50,000 on a tampering with drugs charge.

Marazza pleaded not guilty in Stow court Tuesday to the charge of possession of drug abuse instruments.
