Man Runs Away From Police Through Six Traffic Lanes

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department.

The got a call April 19 about a man walking and hiding under the Graham Road Bridge.

When police responded, they found the man, who is from Cuyahoga Falls, near Steels Corners Road around 6:30 a.m.

According to the report, the man, 29, ran across six lanes of traffic. Police chased him and caught up at the 4100 block of Bridgewater Parkway where he was arrested. Police said the man was suspected of using alcohol.

Failure to comply is a first-degree misdemeanor, pedestrians on a highway is a minor-misdemeanor and resisting arrest is a second-degree misdemeanor.

He was taken to Summit County Jail.
