Man Walks out of Store, Finds Officers Viewing a Bottle of Booze in his Car

On May 26, the received a call about a possible drunken driver on the road.
The caller told officers he saw a man drinking from a bottle of alcohol in a brown paper bag while he was driving.
Officers found the vehicle, a 2008 red Mazda Miata, parked in the parking lot.

When the driver eventually left the store, he was found by officers to be intoxicated, police said.

According to the report, the liquor was a 1-liter bottle of Williams Kentucky Straight Bourbon.
The 55-year-old man from Stow was given a misdemeanor citation and ordered to appear at the Stow Municipal Court House June 1.
Having an open container in a motor vehicle is a minor-misdemeanor.
