More than $8,000 in Items Burglarized

Norton Road burglary was costly
- A resident of the 2700 block of Norton Road reported a felony burglary to on Oct. 18, according to police. Between 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. that day, an unknown person kicked in the rear door and stole two Apple MacBook laptop computers with a combined value of $5,500, a ladies diamond ring valued at $3,000, a Sony PlayStation3 valued at $300, a Nintendo game station valued at $300, a Tomtom GPS unit valued at $169 and four credit cards.
Landscape firm ripped off while mowing
- A Little Wonder 9-horsepower walk-behind leaf blower valued at $1,299 was reported stolen Oct. 20 from a Newbury landscaping company's trailer while employees were mowing at a business in the 2000 block of Graham Road.
