Motorist Flees From Police, Loses Control of Car

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A 21-year-old Cuyahoga Falls man was arrested at 2:17 a.m. Sept. 19 after fleeing from Stow Police and losing control of his car.

Police report that a 2002 Dodge Stratus was seen speeding west on Graham Road at Fishcreek Road and that the driver failed to stop when signaled to do so. The man was taken into custody after losing control of his car near Moreland Avenue.

Police said the man was suspected of using both drugs and alcohol, was found to be driving under suspension and was in possession of a used marijuana pipe.

He was charged with speeding, fleeing, failure to control, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license and driving under suspension without current auto insurance, all misdemeanors of varying degrees.

His vehicle was towed from the scene and, after processing, the man was released on a personal recognizance bond.
