Officers Find Heroin, Meth, Syringes, Knives After Routine Traffic Stop

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Officers pulled over an Akron woman April 21 because of an equipment violation, but found several other subsequent offenses. 

First, police noticed that the woman was driving under suspension, according to the report.

After officers arrested the 33-year-old woman, police said they found a substance believed to be heroin, methamphetamine, syringes, spoons, a glass pipe, straws, a prescription bottle of Ibuprofen, two knives, scissors, tweezers and an orange plastic water bottle with a spoon and syringe.

The woman was charged with drug abuse (heroin), drug abuse (methamphetamine), both fifth-degree felonies, having drug abuse instruments, a second-degree misdemeanor, having drug paraphernalia, a fourth-degree misdemeanor and possession of dangerous drugs, a first-degree misdemeanor.

She was taken to Summit County Jail.
