Patrols Increased for Holiday, Watch OVI Driver Crash Car

"What's at Stake?" - Compelling video of a near head-on crash involving an innocent motorist and an alleged impaired driver. Lance Morrison, the innocent driver, and the trooper involved will share their personal experiences.

If knowing that local law enforcement is increasing patrols this weekend isn't enough to keep drivers from driving while impaired, then maybe this compelling video released by the Ohio State Highway Patrol is.

"We are increasing our patrols for this week utilizing hours we are allotted as part of a grant to the Summit County OVI Task Force which is a multi-jurisdictional task force made up of many communities in Summit County," said Lt. Anne Stirm." We are working 16 additional hours of targeted enforcement this week specifically with hours from the grant. All officers are aware of the increased potential for impaired drivers throughout the holiday season. They are encouraged to use self-directed patrol time to seek out these offenders."
